Each year, universities of the Coimbra Group, including K.U.Leuven, offer young professors and researchers from Latin American universities the possibility to visit a European university for a period up to 6 months.

The precise content of the scholarships will vary between universities. The K.U.Leuven offers three scholarships for 2 or 3 months for postdoctoral researchers or professors who already obtained a PhD degree.

The applicant is linked as a professor or researcher to a Latin American university. He or she should work out an activity programme in consultation with the host professor at the recipient university.
